Our team is made up of passionate, life long rally enthusiasts. With experience of the sport from both sides of the stage, we really know how to capture the pace, excitement and unique spectacle that rallying offers.
We are a close team of friends; something which has come across to people we've worked with over the last few years. Anyone who is taken on to work on the Special Stage series quickly becomes part of this culture. It's simply how we do business.
We take our work, and our fun very seriously.
Wayne Goldring - Production Director / Cameraman

Wayne started MC-Video in 2007 after putting together footage from the Coracle Stages at Sweetlamb and being inundated with requests for DVDs by competitors.
Since then, Wayne has built up an enviable reputation in the motorsport industry, working for a range of production companies including AMG, Acceleration and Ralio. His experience extends to working as a Freelance cameraman for the 2009 & 2010 British Historic Rally Championship, and the Roger Albert Clark Rally for the last 3 years as well as arranging for MC-Video to supply footage to companies such as S4c for their weekly Ralio show.
Wayne remains in charge of scripting and editing. Dispite the value of his technical knowledge in the editing suite, Wayne believes in a hands on approach and co-ordinates camera work on every event, personally, overseeing some of the stage footage, and taking charge of the filming in and around the start / finish / service area and interviews
Paul Woodford - Presenter / Voiceover / Script writer

Paul has a self-confessed obsession for all things rallying, having been brought up on a diet of Minis, Saab 96s and Mk1 Escorts.A competitor himself, Paul's competitive debut was in a works replica Mk2 Cortina GT and his most recent outing saw him finish 3rd in class on the 2011 Richard Burns Memorial Rally.
Pauls degree in script writing, together with his stage and screen experience make him perfect for Voiceover work. With a neutral, well spoken accent, Pauls Yorkshire roots aren't always obvious. We're pleased to report that the same can't be said for that northern charm!
Aside from his work with MC-Video, Paul is a professional radio presenter and a Chartered Marketing Consultant and readily offers advice for promoting our sponsors' and partners' activities. This also makes him valuable to the team in terms of his understanding of the commercial objectives of a television show.
Bríd Deery - Presenter / Voiceover

Bríd is well known in the world of rallying, particularly in Ireland where shes has been working on television programmes for a number of years. Her natural presence in front of the camera combines with her personable style of interviewing to bring a fresh, popular face to the Special Stage series.
Bríd lives and breathes rallying, and being from the Emerald Isle she likes it lairy, and sideways. She works closely with Paul on our flagship series, and if you've seen our famous out takes you'll know just how much of a double act they can be!
Lowri Davies - Presenter / Voiceover

The newest member of our team, Lowri is enthusiastic and has shown a natural approach to interviews in front of the camera. Being from Wales, like Brid her passion for rallying comes with an air of expectancy, and she doesn't disappoint.
Lowri's passion for motorsport came from a young age, her competitive side born at the family go-karting centre. Since then she has competed in kart races, autotests and rallies as a co-driver
Luke Harvey - Series Cameraman

Luke has been a part of the team since the early stages. An avid fan for many years, Luke has built up an impressive portfolio of video work for various championships.
Luke's knowledge of the UK rally stages means we are always in the right place for capturing the true spirit of a particular rally. Luke's skill and technical experience have seen him join wayne on the front line as a main contributor of footage since 2009. Luke has also supplied footage to Acceleration and Ralio
Steven Drew - Series Cameraman

Steven joined the team towards the end of 2008, and has quickly become a leading contributor throughout our many projects. Steven's talent for reflecting the true pace and spectacle of a rally car, together with possesing the high standards we demand from each member of our team make him a valuable asset to MC-Video. Steven has also supplied footage to Acceleration and Ralio through MC-Video
Philip Drew - Series Cameraman

Philip joined us at the same time as Steven, and has become part of the team just as quickly. Philip is no stranger to Rallying, as a competitor himself in the past. A keen walker, he is ideally suited to finding those locations that no other crew would reach.
Mal Herrick - Cameraman

Mal has been filming for over 25 years on a wide variety of TV shows all over the world. His experience within the team allows us to always put someone with an eye for production in an event crew.
Mal's other current credits include the 2011 British Historic Rally Championship, and he also films on the motor racing circuit, covering championships such as the Mazda MX5 one make series.
It's unusual to turn up at an event and not meet people who know Mal, such is his reputation. We're yet to work out if that's a good or bad thing!
